Rise x Fall–Marrying two fashion forces, GQ Italia presents an exclusive preview to the Loewe x Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons collaboration collection in a unique film by Marco Adamo Graziosi and Maria Host-Ivessich. Stylist Andrea Porro pulls several looks from the collection, creating a unifying vision between the clothing, jewelry, and accessories. The film focuses on models Andrew Bocelli (2morrow), Axel (Boom), Dustin Phil (Fashion), and Samuele Visentin (Elite), twisting and turning as they explore the infinite dimensions of movement. / Grooming by Rory Rice.
Rock ‘n’ Roll–Pops of color, textured fabrics, bold graphics, and a young Elvis Presley all take a role in Marc Jacobs’ latest resort 2014 collection. The line continues to pull clean silhouettes and a sharp aesthetic, splashing the menswear staples with daring prints, fun shades of color, and a relaxed, carefree attitude.
Classic Clement–The face of both the campaign and look book for De Fursac’s fall/winter 2013 outing, top French model Clément Chabernaud takes a test drive in the fast lane for the accompanying video. Shot in black & white, the film conveys a nostalgic ease as Clément walks the track in classic, minimal menswear staples, including a sleek overcoat and tailored suiting.
All We Have Is Now–Ezekiel takes to White Sands in New Mexico for the setting of their fall 2013 campaign, starring model Lyle Lodwick. Photographer Bryant Eslava captures a youthful exuberance and a captivating spontaneity with Lyle, as he takes to the infinite desert in streetwear staples and casual silhouettes. Accompanying the campaign photos, director Trevor Wineman works with the brand, developing a film that follows a group of teenagers embracing the true spirit of Ezekiel.
Passion for Trousers–Introducing us to their spring/summer 2014 collection, French label Patrons, a brand which is known for its great offering in terms of trousers, heads to the South of France to shoot a new video, starring model Nicolas Baisin. Under Cedric Coldefy’s artistic direction, Nicolas spends an active day under the sun, riding his bike, swimming in the clear blue sea or simply enjoying the breeze that messes up his hair while driving a vintage convertible. Styled by Vincent Schoepfer, the label’s founder, in pieces that come straight from Patrons’ spring/summer 2014 collection, Nicolas alternates shorts, chinos and skinny designs, available for next summer in an updated palette of colors that includes delicate sorbet tones, bold nuances or dusty colors.
The Last Cowboy–Directed by Devin Schiro, leading model Adam Senn appears in a short video, shot to promote DSection’s latest issue. Embracing the classic cowboy style, Adam is styled by Lizette Pena in jeans, white cotton tees, boots, denim shirts and jackets. Playing the always appealing character of a lone and enigmatic cowboy, the Texas-raised model is ready to explore the inaccessible landscape that surrounds him, putting on his favorite cowboy hat and smoking a cigarette.
Walking in a silent setting, Adam finds some time to embark in an introspective journey, that will lead him to try to establish an intimate relationship with nature, in order to discover more about himself, as affirmed by Henry David Thoreau’s words that create the video’s soundtrack. / Hair by Gareth Bromell (Atelier Management).
