Diesel Spring/Summer 2016 Campaign
Diesel taps DNCE frontman Joe Jonas to star in its spring-summer 2016 advertising campaign. Wearing a leather biker jacket and patterned button-down, Jonas appears in the advertisement alongside model and actress Kiko Mizuhara. Model Trevor Signorino also appears in the campaign, wearing Diesel’s underwear.
Continuing the brand’s digital theme, thanks to artistic director Nicola Formichetti, the outing embraces a young attitude with hashtags, brief messages and custom emojis that feature Diesel’s spring fashions. Discussing the campaign with i-D, Formichetti shared, “I wanted to dissect the idea of digital culture. We’re all obsessed, we’re crazy in love and hate with social media and I just wanted to do something that was fun.”

Nick Jonas x Diesel
Starring in Diesel’s spring-summer 2016 campaign is not Joe Jonas’ first outing for the brand. Jonas was a front row guest at Diesel Black Gold’s spring show and was recently outfitted by Diesel as he toured with his new pop group DNCE.
