  1. I think Levi's ads this last year have been the best across the board. The commercial spots are amazing and the mag spreads are right up there too. Pay attention to what the do!

  3. Ooo, its snazzy, its catchy and his form looks great.
Though… I feel… something slightly negative towards it
    Not much, buh I dunno.

  5. …and without men in suits, we'd all still be down on the farm. This is a very Republican-esque, anti-intellectual manifesto that says REAL men wear Levi's. Spare me.

  7. what country are they talking about?
i think its really good, eye-catching! but not a very intelligent argument to make.

  9. I don't get why people don't get think it's intelligent. It's actually really simple, at least from my point of view. Its stating that this country (I'm pretty sure they're talking about America) was made by the immigrants who built it stone by stone, and they most PROBABLY weren't wearing suits (especially if they were the ones who created the basic infrastructure.) I guess it appeals to the common man. And I agree that it's shouldn't be 'real' men wear jeans. But seriously, jeans over drop crotch pants for the average mans work makes A HELL of a lot of sense. 🙂

  11. Real men wear jeans! And Levi's has been making them for the last 200 yrs. Real men don't wear drop crotch pants. It makes it difficult when changing tires or working in general

  13. um this isn't nietzsche… its advertising. they are a brand trying to sell something, jeans, duh. who cares most people who "built this country" pry wont be reading any magazine that this ad is in because they go to some fleet supply store and buy there levis like they have there entire life, trust me i'm from a small iowa town. I don't see many old men sitting around drinking coffee/beer at a bar/cafe reading GQ, Details, Areana Homme, etc. So maybe we all need to "go forth" and do something more productive with our time then analyze what levis did or is trying to do…..
