There is nothing that completes an outfit more than a well-made watch and Autodromo is a brand that certainly knows about quality. Founded by Bradley Price, the young label makes watches for those who appreciate the beauty of fast cars and automobile races of yesteryear. The timepieces are inspired by mid-century style, a time when the rules of the road were more of a suggestion than an actual thing to follow.
Always On Time–Sporting an unusual beard, Re:Quest model Benjamin Eidem graces the newly released advertising campaign for the fall/winter 2013 timepieces collection of German label Hugo Boss Orange. Captured by Lachlan Bailey in a subway in New York City, Benjamin poses for a stunning close-up, providing a charming gaze, that risks to distract attention from the contemporary hi-tech watch he’s displaying.
Important Details–To promote its newly launched collection of chronographs, Italian label Emporio Armani taps Brazilian model Alexandre Cunha. Captured inside a gym during a sweaty boxing workout, Alexandre never renounces to wear his favorite timepiece, which is an essential accessory that defines his dynamic and contemporary style, thanks to a modern design and hi-tech materials.
Sport is an Attitude–Faithful to its signature concept of contemporary elegance, Italian label Emporio Armani launches a new collection of desirable watches for summer 2013, named Stylesport. The inspiration behind this new range of chronographs, that have in common a simple and appealing design, hi-tech materials, luxury details and great performances, is that sport is not a simple way of dressing, but is intended as an individual attitude, and to enclose all of these features in a watch, the brand provides a series of timepieces that blend classic sporty colors with a refined aesthetic. The key piece of the whole collection is definitely the AR6107 model, a limited edition regatta watch, available only in 999 pieces, that presents improved features, combined with an exclusive design.
Watch Out–Reuniting with Karl Lagerfeld for his latest timepiece campaign, Spanish model Jon Kortajarena poses with brunette beauty Saskia de Brauw. Donning pieces from Lagerfeld’s menswear line, Jon makes a modern impression in black and white numbers that mirror the contemporary feel of the watch collection.
Colorama–After delighting our eyes with Armani Exchange’s spring 2013 campaign, shot in the exotic Turks and Caicos island, photographer Matthew Scrivens (JET/MMS) is once more on board with the brand, this time to shoot the summer 2013 advertisements. Enlisting once more models Marlon Teixeira, Alexander Van Ballaer and Miguel Iglesias, Scrivens focuses his lens on the playful Color Flash collection of watches and sunglasses designed by the label for the summer season. Lounging poolside, the models are styled by David Vandewal (Art + Commerce) in casual beachwear pieces, matched with playful watches and sunglasses, embellished with vibrant neon details and flash mirrored lenses, that perfectly stand out in the striking black & white images. / Creative direction by Tom Jarrold.
