The Lanvin man was dark and brooding for fall. Alber Elbaz and Lucas Ossendrijver continued to play with volume as loose, slouchy, high-waisted trousers moved with great fluidity in contrast to structured blazers and jackets, paired with elongated silhouettes. Instead of offering head to toe ensembles, the collection focused on separates in the same color scheme, mimicking the eclecticism of a man’s daily wardrobe. While the youthful rebellious edge was seen in leather coats and jackets that mixed prints and textures, Lanvin also offered a contemporary simplicity with oversized t-shirts.
