New York Fashion Week

Established in 1943, New York Fashion Week, which became Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in 2009, is held in February and September of each year. During February, fall/winter collections show, while spring/summer collections are revealed during September.

Has New York Fashion Week Lost Its Luster?

By the time New York Fashion Week rolls around in September, fashion editors are already shooting spring samples from collections that have shown in Paris, Milan and London. As a label, it’s hard to tap into the general narrative when the start of your new chapter is delayed.
