Comme des Garçons Spring/Summer 2015–Ironically, Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawabuko executed her anti-war message for spring/summer 2015 with a military-inspired collection. Models hit the catwalk with curly dos, strong structured jackets, brass buttons and upturned shoes reminiscent of elf shoes. Nets were layered over jackets as the show progressed, poking fun at the alto popular military motif. Anti-war prints and rich jewel tones broke up the severity of a dark color palette, anchoring the collection with whimsical gestures.
