Vivienne Westwood is the rebel of fashion. In 1970, along with the band Sex Pistols, Westwood opened the boutique Let it Rock in London, where she crafted her outlandish designs inspired from bikers and prostitutes, perfect for the fashion misfits. The boutique, now World’s End, remains to be owned by Westwood and continues to carry her collections. She launched her first ready-to-wear collection in 1981 and has expanded into menswear and created two secondary lines. Her rebellious and punk aesthetic revolutionized fashion during the 70′s and the impact is still prominent today. Westwood’s love for theatricality has made her runway shows the place to be during fashion week.
