A Slice of L.A.–Taking a page from West Side Story, Band of Outsiders designer Scott Sternberg paid homage to the classic American film at the eightieth edition of Pitti Uomo in Florence, Italy. Kick starting a new season, Sternberg’s theatrical presentation of show tunes and live dancers, ready for Broadway, highlighted the All-American boy collection of rolled up denim, varsity jackets, lightweight knitwear and nylon jackets in an array of vibrant hues. In addition, the retro-influenced lineup offered a modern selection of tailored double-breasted blazers, cotton suits and nautical striped shirts and ties.
