A cofounder of J Brand, Jeff Rudes left as chief executive last year following a majority investment from Fast Retailing. Starting over, Rudes is excited as he launches the new line Jeffrey Rüdes. Based in Los Angeles and produced in Italy, the range isn’t wasting anytime in delivering a sharp, accessible modern experience. Opening July 1, 2015, a two-story Jeffrey Rüdes flagship will be located at 57 Greeene Street in New York City. A smart approach to menswear delivers a must-have lineup for fall, featuring a balanced blend of tailored suiting and essential separates such as the leather jacket or knit sweater. Talking to WWD, Rudes explains, “I knew five years ago that I would finish my career doing luxury men’s wear, and my vision for this goes back 10 years.”
