Xander Zhou Fall/Winter 2014–If you didn’t know any better, you would think that you were on the cusp if enrolling at Hogwarts with Xander Zhou’s fall/winter 2014 collection. The Chinese designer looked to a charming collegiate theme to inform his latest outing. Mixing plaids and color blocking, a graphic statement opened the door for large silhouettes and coated figures. While wraps, headbands and cowl necks provided coverage from the winter cold, wide-cut trousers offered an accessible drama, contrasted against more adventurous pieces such as a coat dressed in pom poms.
