Situationist Spring 2027 Gives Tailoring an Off-Duty Attitude

The shoulders say business; the flip-flops suggest the day has other possibilities. For spring-summer 2027, Situationist gives imposing tailoring an off-duty attitude. Creative director Irakli Rusadze pares back the construction’s complexity, leaving strong jackets and full trousers to frame a more exposed body.

A pale pink suit, worn with its shirt open to the waist, captures the proposition. The man looks dressed, even if getting dressed appears to have stopped a few buttons early. Elsewhere, a snakeskin-pattern jacket needs little beyond bare skin and dark trousers, its surface supplying the extravagance that additional layers would only interrupt.

Leather brings weight to this summer wardrobe, but short shorts and brightly colored flip-flops keep the styling from becoming too solemn. Parker van Noord, who also fronts the label’s fall 2026 campaign, carries an oversized red shoulder bag, suggesting his plans require considerably more than office essentials.

Hand-produced by a team of women artisans, the collection retains a connection to Georgian tradition through Borjgali ornaments, symbols of the sun and eternity. On prominent belt buckles, they draw the eye to the waist beneath those open jackets, making heritage part of the clothes’ sensuality. Rusadze’s man enjoys the presence a suit gives him and decides for himself how formally to behave.
