Neil Barrett Fall/Winter 2014–Designer Neil Barrett found his sweet spot this season with a rich black and brown color palette. Moving away from young sporty essentials such as the bomber or sweatshirt, fall’s collection puts forth more classic pieces. With a renewed focus on outerwear, pieces like the dufflecoat were smart, put forth with leather panels or dressed in prints. Meanwhile, long lean coats were given a cool treatment with an alluring gradient. Not forfeiting an element of youth, lightning bolts decorated more casual fashions.
