A. Sauvage Fall/Winter 2014–Making his runway debut this season, A. Sauvage designer Adrien Sauvage brought his A-game to London Collections: Men with a range inspired by his Afropolitan heritage and dictators in flight. Pulling off tailored essentials with a young but dark energy, Sauvage created a collection that effortlessly blended casual and formal design elements. Here, trim pleated trousers and boots contributed to ensembles that alternated between sharp blazers, bombers, biker jackets and other covetable separates. Presenting a collision of cultures, eclectic prints emerged. Taking the collection full circle from luxe day looks to debonair evening numbers, Sauvage even treated his dinner jackets to an element of cool, whether enlarging proportions or embracing dynamic print work.
