Rag & Bone’s spring-summer 2017 collection signifies new beginnings for the fashion brand. Presented during New York Fashion Week, the range marked the label’s first outing since the departure of one-half of the design team, David Neville. Taking a solo journey, Marcus Wainwright found a familiar theme in the style of American sportswear but revisited the motif in a modern streetwear friendly context.
Approaching the season with a straightforward attitude, a color palette of predominantly black, white and blue dressed sporty separates that featured from crewneck pullovers, boxy camp shirts, bomber jackets, baggy shorts, and relaxed chinos. Adding a splash of red, Rag & Bone’s narrative also included deep v-neck sweaters, ponchos, layered shorts, and parkas.
