Proportional Play-Towing the line between slim and wide silhouettes, Raf Simons delivered an abundance of quirky for his latest eponymous outing. Up first for the designer was a clean slate for the coat and blazer. Elongating the arms and bringing in the waist, the silhouette offered a more experimental fit. Further explored with dress shirts and pointed lapels, differing shapes stirred the collection into a retro direction with zany prints, pleated trousers and contrasting colors. Coming full-circle with a tongue in cheek elegance realized by satin finishes and the reinterpretation of the t-shirt, Raf Simons distorted a clean perception of menswear for a delightful offbeat fall encounter.
