Rishi Robin made his runway debut at Ermenegildo Zegna in the summer of 2018, walking the men’s spring-summer 2019 show in Milan at nineteen. The Belgian-Sri Lankan model walked the rest of the season in London, Milan, and Paris that same year, picking up Versace, Hermès, and Lanvin in his first cycle.

The campaigns followed. Salvatore Ferragamo shot him under Paul Andrew for fall-winter 2019. Louis Vuitton put him in campaigns. Six-foot-two with the dark brows, dark eyes, and tousled black hair casting directors keep coming back to, he settled into the upper tier of the European men’s circuit by the end of his first year.

The body of work since has run through two houses in particular. Rishi returns to Ralph Lauren and Kiton season after season. Ralph Lauren is shaped around tweeds and cricket sweaters, Kiton around some of the softest tailoring in the industry. He is the South Asian face both of them keep inviting back, treated as a natural part of either picture, the New England prep-school lawn on one side, the sun-cut Mediterranean light on the other, the same model in both.
