Cherokee Jack signed with Ford in New York and arrived at the front of an American campaign rotation almost immediately. Banana Republic put him in its 2021 fall campaign shot in Marrakech and brought him back across the next two years of spring, summer, and holiday work.

Polo Ralph Lauren cast Jack for holiday 2023. FRAME placed him in Erik Torstensson’s Modern Man campaign the same year, and Byredo gave him the Desert Dawn fragrance face. His editorial run includes Esquire, T Magazine, WSJ, Elle, and Man About Town, shot by Inez and Vinoodh, Glen Luchford, Sharif Hamza, and Richard Phibbs.

Indigenous men remain a small group at the top of American menswear, and Jack has spent the past years inside the houses that shape how the country dresses itself. He hails from South Minneapolis around the Mississippi, and the career has stayed tied to home. Jack travels for the shoots and returns to Minneapolis between them, splitting his platform between modeling and advocacy work in environmental protection, mutual aid, and food sovereignty.

Jack’s campaigns place an Indigenous face inside the visual language brands have spent decades defining as American style, and the man at the front of those images is telling a fuller version of what the country has looked like the whole time.
