Dior Men looks to its Miami fashion show for the inspiration of its pre-fall 2020 campaign. A graffiti-clad background refers to the 1980s surf scene, as well as artist and designer, Shawn Stussy. Ludwig Wilsdorff, Thatcher Thornton, Jecardi Sykes, Issa Naciri, and Max Wetcher take up the spotlight for the occasion. The models pose for the lens of photographer Steven Meisel, while Melanie Ward looks after styling.
Kim Jones explains, “This campaign captures the idea of Miami and Dior’s modern vision enhanced by Shawn’s graphic identity.” The Dior Men artistic director delivers a bold vision for the season with “psychedelic shirts, sweaters and bob hats in tutti-frutti or two-tone versions.” Dior’s advertisement also spotlights a vibrant spin on the brand’s B23 sneakers, alongside a new Saddle Soft bag and leather ankle boots.
