The record-shop poster gets a second life in Paul Smith’s 2026 collaboration with Fender. Psychedelic lettering spreads across a printed shirt and tie-dye T-shirt, while sunflower graphics give a black varsity jacket a softer character than its athletic shape suggests. These are clothes suited to the audience as much as the stage, a connection the campaign develops through British four-piece Legss.
Among pub stools and red banquettes, the musicians wear the pieces with an informality that keeps the collaboration from feeling like commemorative merchandise. The capsule draws on London’s Wardour Street record-shop culture and marks Smith’s 80th birthday alongside Fender’s 80th anniversary. Its Japanese-made Telecaster takes the exchange in the other direction, dressing an instrument in Smith’s Signature Stripe.
Back in the wardrobe, a sunflower tie lets the musical references slip into a shirt-and-tie outfit, while record-label T-shirts announce the association more directly. That range of volume is part of the appeal. You can dress for the gig or let a small detail give away where you’re heading afterward.
Paul Smith + Fender 2026 Campaign

The playful mood continues from Paul Smith’s fall-winter 2026 campaign, where Vasko Luyckx turns a day in New York into an excuse for small diversions.
