Unveiling Balenciaga’s spring-summer 2018 men’s collection during Paris Fashion Week, artistic director Demna Gvasali continues an obsession with corporate culture. It’s here that Gvasali designs a wardrobe for Balenciaga’s man on the weekend.
It only seemed appropriate to include fathers in the catwalk lineup. This resulted in an outdoors show that displayed the Balenciaga family. The collection shows a clear juxtaposition of Balenciaga’s tailored heritage with Gvasali’s nostalgic love for streetwear as cemented by his own label, Vetements.
