Real Madrid celebrates its 120th anniversary at the same time as designer Yohji Yamamoto celebrates twenty years at the creative helm of Y-3. Both collaborate on a unique capsule collection. The range includes pieces that you can wear on and off the pitch to commemorate how Y-3 and Real Madrid have pushed the boundaries of fashion and sports.
Y-3 x Real Madrid Collection
A striking campaign, appropriately titled “The Ceremony,” helps launch the new Y-3 x Real Madrid collection. The images, inspired by Yohji Yamamoto’s unique black style, follow an elusive vision of two lovers who, led by the past, move towards their future. A diverse crowd of watchers, including players from Real Madrid and club great Iker Casillas, star in the advertisement.

After cooperating on Real Madrid’s third kit for the 2014-15 season, Y-3 expands its collaboration with a more extensive range representing energy and speed. The collection has a black fourth kit with white accents and a pink goalkeeper kit with white accents for the Real Madrid men’s team, with Y-3 branding and “hand painted” stripes, numbers, and names.
The Light Shell Anthem Jacket and Pants have thoughtful designs and laser-cut embellishments for the pitch. The off-pitch collection includes a black t-shirt with the Real Madrid emblem and the Y-3 logo on the back, a luxury elongated scarf, and a wash-bag with white accents.
