A winter trip to Paris is a good excuse to take the long scarf. Banana Republic gives it plenty of work in its holiday 2026 campaign, “Found Along the Way,” with Max Knott and Halid Nuhu dressing for days that invite a little lingering outdoors. Max leans against a luggage-laden car in a leather jacket, an olive scarf falling almost to his knees, while a red cable-knit sweater and matching scarf bring seasonal color to another snowy street scene. The appeal comes from how comfortably these clothes occupy the city.
Wide trousers give cropped jackets room below the waist, and knitwear softens the more formal associations of a collared shirt. On Halid, a patterned sweater tucked into pleated trousers suggests that dressing for the holidays can be as simple as giving everyday clothes a richer texture. His mottled zip jacket over a ribbed knit takes the same idea outdoors.
Actress Ella Hunt joins the Paris story, but the menswear has its own itinerary. Even when Max and Halid step out in tailoring, their high-neck knits leave the occasion open. Lunch might turn into dinner, and there is no reason to go back and change.

For the evening portion of the trip, Banana Republic’s holiday 2026 party edit brings velvet tailoring and festive knitwear to a Paris apartment.
