Comfort has its proportions, and Dao-Yi Chow knows his. For UGG’s latest campaign, the Public School co-founder takes chestnut footwear for a walk through Central Park, giving its rounded shapes room to belong. A light quarter-zip balloons over loose black trousers, whose hems meet the Classic Mini Guard GTX boots just above the ankle. The volume up top answers the weight underfoot, making the boots feel like part of the silhouette instead of an afterthought.
With the Lowmel Guard GTX, Chow switches to blue jeans and a white T-shirt beneath a long trench coat, its open front keeping the layers easy. Photographed by Chris Black, the images make a useful distinction between relaxed dressing and clothes that have simply been thrown on. Both outfits have shape, even when little is fitted. The chestnut suede supplies warmth against the neutral outerwear, while the dark soles give each look a firm base. A walk in the park still allows for a little design sense.
Dao-Yi Chow for UGG’s GTX Campaign

The proportions take a more playful turn in UGG’s JW Anderson loafer collaboration, whose campaign features Dev Hynes in exaggerated footwear.
