Vivienne Westwood kicked off her spring-summer 2016 menswear show with a barely clad model, sporting a cropped top and high-cut briefs. Sporting a head wrap, the model finished his look with sandals dressed in a print that contributed to a thoughtful message about society’s criminals such as bankers and politicians that are disguised in a suit or tie. Playing to this note, the collection touched on individual pieces put together with a Bohemian spirit. Waging a war on the traditional suit, Westwood injected volume and a sense of fun, mixing various prints, one a reworked camouflage for a spontaneous but fantastic collection with character. From ripped tops and cropped joggers to knit tunics or photographic print leggings, Westwood delivered a zany charm in spades.
