Best known for his roles in “Mario” and “Unorthodox,” the German actor appears before photographer Daniel Jackson’s lens for the advertisement. Altaras joins model Xu Meen as the faces of the season. Jackson turns up the studio lights for dramatic shadows as he captures Altaras and Meen in high-contrast images. Their portraits mirror still photography of Tod’s must-have men’s footwear for spring. Tod’s selection reflects the current needs of men dealing with the global pandemic. Therefore, more casual styles like the sneaker are stressed.
