Tim Coppens Fall/Winter 2014–Taking a winter trek for the new season, Tim Coppens was inspired by the active world of mountaineering. Combining both classic and technical fabrics, Coppens furnishes his contemporary point of view with varied references. From tartan to select color blocking, fitted sportswear ensembles were layered with care. Unlined Austrian Loden wool dressed jackets and shirts while pants were decorated with aluminum fabric for a highly visible finish. Meanwhile, Coppens introduced a collaboration with Linda Farrow, an oversized goggle frame featuring nylon coated lenses. The season also marks the continuation of Coppens’ collaboration with Masterpiece for backpacks and Common Projects for footwear.
