Awsten Knight is ready for his closeup as he covers VMAN magazine’s digital edition. The Waterparks frontman channels his inner model for three covers. Photography duo Domen & Van de Velde captures Knight for the colorful cover series.
Meanwhile, stylist Nicola Formichetti works his magic with a bold wardrobe. Formichetti taps into Knight’s punk-pop image with a lineup of colorful numbers and electric prints. Front and center, Knight rocks fashions from brands like Fendi, Moschino, and Marc Jacobs.
With the release of Waterparks fourth studio album, “Greatest Hits,” Knight reflects on the evolution of the band’s discography. “Our eras are marked with different colors,” shares Knight. “I’ll switch up hair for different albums.”
Talking about the new album, Knight confesses, “I’ve had that title [in mind] since 2015. I just knew “G” needed to be multicolored because ‘Greatest Hits’ represents a bunch of different eras.”
Knight continues, “‘Greatest Hits’ was designed to do that: and that’s why a lot of styles on the album are so different from each other. This is definitely the most experimental we’ve gone.” Read more at VMAN.com.
