Sam Webb
Sam Webb is a British model whose athletic build and dark, curly hair have made him a recurring face of Italian menswear. His long association with Dolce & Gabbana established him within the house’s recognizable male cast, while work for Brunello Cucinelli and Brioni extended his career into other interpretations of luxury dressing.
From Birmingham, Sam was scouted by Select Model Management at 19. Modeling had not been an ambition, but he recognized the opportunity and entered a profession that would take him around the world. His background in boxing gave him a point of connection with the demands of the runway.
In a 2010 interview with The Fashionisto, Sam recalled that Dolce & Gabbana had given him both his first runway and his first campaign. Repeat bookings made the working relationship feel familial, with fellow regulars David Gandy, Adam Senn, and Noah Mills becoming figures he regarded as older brothers. He compared the adrenaline before a show to the competition he had known in the boxing ring, finding something of sport in fashion’s backstage chaos.
His appreciation of lasting working relationships continued as his career developed. Speaking to TAIKER in 2019, Sam singled out Brunello Cucinelli’s ethos and the mutual loyalty of his relationship with Dolce & Gabbana. He described his own taste as a combination of high fashion and English style, and treated portrait photography as an exchange between the person in front of the camera and the photographer behind it.
Later work, including Brioni’s spring-summer 2026 campaign, continued his association with Italian tailoring. Alongside modeling, Sam became a mentor through The Be Well Collective. Having benefited from the guidance of more experienced models, he wanted to help newcomers navigate the industry’s pressures and gain a greater sense of control over their careers. The support he had found among colleagues became something he could offer in turn.
