Noah Mills
Noah Mills is a model and actor whose athletic build and rugged features connect American sportswear with the sensuality of Italian menswear. He became one of Dolce & Gabbana’s signature male faces during the 2000s and later developed a parallel career in film and television.
Born in Toronto and raised in Baltimore, Noah spent part of his schooling in Canada and Australia. His sister Quimby encouraged him to try modeling, suggesting that he resembled the men in magazines. He then walked into a Vancouver agency to ask about work. Recounting that start in a 2014 interview with Vogue, Noah also reflected on his long relationship with Dolce & Gabbana, saying that its shoots and shows marked out nearly a decade of his life.
The D&G Anthology fragrance campaign in 2009 placed him alongside Naomi Campbell and other established fashion names. He also became part of Tommy Hilfiger’s advertising ensemble, while his March 2011 Details cover with Sean O’Pry and Arthur Kulkov gave male models a place usually reserved for celebrities. His appeal could suggest both an approachable American man and the more theatrical masculinity of designer luxury.
Acting offered him room to develop beyond that image. After appearing in Sex and the City 2 (2010) and 2 Broke Girls, Noah wrote and produced the short film Wracked (2013), playing a man returning home from prison. Speaking to Out in 2013, he explained that writing his own material answered a desire for more demanding character work. Television roles followed in The Brave and The Enemy Within, before he played Jesse Boone in NCIS: Hawaiʻi.
Fashion remained a parallel career. His Todd Snyder photographs in 2025 show how naturally his physical ease translates to everyday menswear, giving a loose shirt and jeans the same conviction as a suit. The clothes change, but the directness of his appeal remains recognizable.
