Presley Gerber

Presley Gerber was an American model whose career began amid the mid-2010s interest in a new generation of fashion families. The son of Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, he grew up in Malibu with his younger sister, Kaia. His California background remained a recurring point of connection in his work, from denim advertising to a fragrance campaign photographed on the coast.

Presley signed with IMG as a teenager and began modeling in 2015. Before fashion became his occupation, he worked part-time at a Malibu smoothie shop. His initial uncertainty gave way to enjoyment as the jobs accumulated. “At first I wasn’t sure, but once I started doing it more often, I started having a lot of fun with it,” he told The Daily Front Row in 2017. That year, the publication named him Emerging Model at its Fashion Los Angeles Awards.

His runway debut came at Moschino’s Los Angeles show in June 2016. Photography was already an interest of his own, and he photographed Kaia as well as working in front of the camera. “I have always been the type of person to stop and take a picture,” he said in a 2016 interview with Vogue, describing an instinct to notice what others might pass by.

Early campaigns included Dolce & Gabbana and Calvin Klein. Presley and Kaia appeared together in Calvin Klein Jeans’ spring-summer 2018 advertising, extending a family connection that had also featured in their editorial work.

After moving to DNA Models in 2019, he became the face of Celine’s Eau de Californie campaign, released in 2022. Photographed by Hedi Slimane, the project returned him to California, making his home state part of his professional image.

Beyond modeling, Presley spoke publicly about his experiences with mental health and addiction, including through his “Mental Health Mondays” videos. He died on September 20, 2026, at 27.
