Short Lines–The hemlines of shorts continue to rise for spring/summer 2014 as Lanvin menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver unveiled a collection of brave elegance. Informed by the ease of streetwear, relaxed tailoring came hand in hand with minimal but modern finishes. Worn over bare skin, an elongated blazer was fastened with a hidden button while other jackets featured zippered pockets. Meanwhile tanks with various fabrics patched together had an eclectic appeal. Rounded out by textured trousers that tapered or their counterpart that billowed, Lanvin’s latest collection fostered a young contemporary identity with no boundaries.
