Brit in Paris–Bringing a reserved British sensibility to the Parisian runway for their debut season, Hardy Amies treated the season to an accessible range of suiting juxtaposed with the expected sportswear pieces. With the label’s creative director Claire Malcolm at the helm, neutrals painted a calm picture as a sock-free loafer wearing gent took to the runway in belted shorts, knitwear, along with an endless affection for smart dress shirts and ties. Playing nicely along traditional suiting with a contemporary fit, the grand finale brought a little luster with increased prints, silk and Hardy Amies’ offering for rich eveningwear.
