Canali Fall/Winter 2014 Campaign-Italian label Canali enlists model Bastiaan Van Gaalen to front its fall/winter 2014 advertising campaign. Shot in the shadows, Bastiaan plays the role of the new romantic dandy, a figure that is Canali’s main inspiration for the fall season. With a collection made of deconstructed shapes and wide volumes, juxtaposed to more fitted silhouettes, Canali’s fall offering is conceived as a tactile seduction through the collection’s luxury fabrics. Fur, mohair, cashmere and velvet define the new season’s aesthetic, and patterns inspired by tapestries found in ancient noble palaces give to the whole collection a strong appeal.
