Adrien Sahores
Adrien Sahores is a French model whose long face, dark eyes, and slightly off-center smile have found a home across European menswear. His photographs move between an intent gaze and an easy sociability, a range that has taken him from Prada’s cinematic advertising to the relaxed luxury of Loro Piana and Canali.
Scouted while shopping in Paris in January 2009, Adrien walked for Lanvin two weeks later. Early campaigns for Lanvin and Prada quickly established him beyond the runway, followed by Yves Saint Laurent’s fall 2010 advertising. His lean proportions suited the narrow tailoring of the period, while his expressive face gave photographers something less predictable than conventional leading-man severity.
That quality was equally useful to Gucci. Mert & Marcus photographed Adrien for the house’s fall-winter 2013 campaign and cruise 2014 advertising, placing him within Frida Giannini’s glamorous vision of menswear. A role as the face of Hugo Man fragrance extended his recognition beyond fashion’s seasonal collections.
Tailoring is a recurring strength in Adrien’s work. His photographs for Massimo Dutti move between eveningwear and everyday city dressing, while his spring 2021 Loro Piana campaign shows how naturally he inhabits a softer, more informal version of luxury. He brings an approachable elegance to both, making a suit look as much a personal choice as a professional obligation.
His fall 2023 Canali campaign brought a personal relationship into that professional territory, with Adrien appearing alongside his father. For a model whose career began in the heightened world of designer runways, the photographs offered another register, placing family resemblance and affection alongside the clothes.
