Sheer Destiny–A straightforward approach to menswear was the main ingredient for Maison Martin Margiela’s spring 2012 showing. Juxtaposing suiting with an athletic apparel, the collection played with casual and formal elements for a mix that resulted in a comfortable outing that bridged the divide. Whereas sheer suiting and various prints made the argument for a chic spring season, garments such as the nylon cape or coat kept the collection grounded for a wide array of purposes.
