Bonobos returns to its origin story with “Still the Best Seat in Town,” a campaign that places Nicholas Braun inside a New York coffee shop and builds its entire argument from the booth. Braun sits at the counter, stands at the window, orders at the bar, and in every frame the chinos do the talking.
Nicholas Braun for Bonobos Chino Campaign

Tweed jackets, striped shirts, and soft tailoring fill the edges of the shot, but the camera keeps pulling back to the pants. Bonobos treats the chino the way Italian houses once treated the suit, as the foundation that determines everything above it.

The campaign also signals a shift in how Bonobos frames fit. Where previous seasons relied on technical language, this one works through comparison and instinct, placing a well-cut pair of trousers next to a well-made cappuccino and letting the analogy sit.

Alongside its Original Chino, Bonobos introduces a double-pleated version and a forthcoming Vintage Twill style with a wider leg that nods to 90s proportions. It arrives at a moment when men are updating their wardrobes for the office, trading performance fabrics for pieces with shape and permanence. Braun, with his loose comic timing and six-foot-seven frame, fits the campaign because he looks like the customer who finally got the fit right.
