J.Crew hands its classics to Eckhaus Latta for a collaboration that permits its established codes to misbehave. Designers Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta revisit the brand’s 1990s catalogs, reworking the rollneck, barn jacket, rugby shirt, chinos, and duffle coat. Their vision comes through in unusual proportions, irregular knits, and unexpected color combinations.
The New York label introduces friction, loosening the rules around who inhabits J.Crew’s version of American style. Photographer Luna Conte interprets that idea with a crowded house party that lends prep a fluid attitude. Eckhaus Latta does what a younger generation does best. They take timeless originals and alter them just enough to feel fresh while preserving the cool, lived-in character that made them iconic in the first place.
The limited-edition collection arrives September 15, 2026, at J.Crew stores and online.
