Purple magazine is no stranger to pushing the envelope, but this is one editorial you have to see to believe. Paying homage to the Newton Woman and acting as photographer, Karl Lagerfeld puts the assets of his current obsession Baptiste Giabiconi out there for the world to see. With art direction from Olivier Zahm, Baptiste bares all and masters a sleek pair of black stiletto heels.

Warning – Nudity

  1. What a shame! Absolutely no meaning to these pictures at all except that Carl must have quite a fantasy about wearing high heels.
Putting a beautifully masculine man in heels, is that supposed to be groundbreaking?

Come on man, it’s just plain silly!!!

  4. DORIAN GRAY SYNDROME!

An elderly gay fashionguru taking advantage of his naive boy-toy. Promising him fame, if he only gets naked for him. These shoots are not directional in any way and were probably just made fur the purpose to satisfy himself through the lense! This shows: Lagerfeld is like any other gay sugardaddy in the world, just better dressed.

  7. i also agree that this is a bit much. sure this is a great looking guy, but the nudity seems too sexual. doesnt seem like art

  10. Although I’m not sure how I feel of the overall editorial I have to say I love how the Chanel logo is on that segway type thing. It made me “lol.”

  16. I don’t get you guys saying this isn’t art as the moment I saw these images I instantly thought of Helmut Newton. As he had an obsession with shoes and was a groundbreaking (fashion)photographer using so much nudity. Also knowing Helmut & Karl where good friends back in the days, these images to me represent a homage to his good friend and photographer Helmut Newton! Which is in my opinion, BRILLIANT!
