Jamie Dornan Poses for Variety Cover Shoot, Talks ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ & Sex Scenes

Promoting Fifty Shades of Grey, which hits theaters February 14, 2015, actor Jamie Dornan graces the latest cover of Variety. Talking about filming the movie and its sex scenes, Dornan explains, “They were privy to everything, just not my manhood.” While filming the movie’s sex scenes, Dornan wore a special pouch to conceal his private. He continues, “It’s like one of those little satchels that Robin Hood or someone of that era would have tied on to his belt. There’s no back. It’s tiny. I mean, it’s not tiny! Because it’s got to hold a lot.” Talking about the controversy surrounding Fifty Shades of Grey and its depiction of sex, Dornan finds it comical, commenting, “In a funny way, the movies as a business are all about sex.
