Heaton also talks to the magazine about his Stranger Things audition with producers. In a translated quote, he recalls, The first time I met them on Skype, while I was eating in a burger restaurant in London.
The 23-year-old actor continues, They had sent me a montage of several films from the 80s to make me understand what they had in mind and I thought,
This is really an original idea!
I told him about my music and how I started acting, even though I was just starting out. And they said: Interesting because the character we are looking for is a bit of an outsider fixed with music.
