The magazine asks Thwaites if it was intimidating to work with Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tale. In a translated quote, the 27-year-old actor responds. Thwaites explains, “Yes and no. It was important to create something. Again, fresh, because even though this is part of a saga, this film is more of a new beginning. And then I wanted to put a lot on myself. The filmmakers asked me to follow my instincts. I did my best and I hope it works.”
