BOSS announces its long-term partnership with Italian tennis star Matteo Berrettini and exciting plans for a new capsule collection. The multi-year arrangement makes Berrettini an official BOSS Global Brand Ambassador on and off the court. From spring-summer 2022, he’ll be in BOSS advertisements worldwide.
Commemorating their partnership with a clothing collaboration, the BOSS x Matteo Berrettini collection will include sporty styles and off-court basics for summer 2022. A contemporary polo and stretch shorts with sleek styling and streamlined shapes are the basis for optimal performance. They include the new brand logo and typical BOSS embellishments.
Matteo Berrettini for BOSS
The BOSS x Matteo Berrettini look is complete with a cap, wristband, and sustainable socks. The capsule goes casual with a modern T-shirt, hoodie, and casual slacks for style off the court. A portion of the purchases will benefit Berrettini’s new charity, which will help poor children in Italy.
Tennis star Matteo Berrettini is ecstatic to be working with the German brand. “I have always been a fan of BOSS and it’s an honor to collaborate with such a powerhouse fashion brand – one that is at the top of its game when it comes to style and technical expertise.” The 25-year-old continues, “I’m particularly proud to have the opportunity to give back to the Italian community with each sale from our capsule collection supporting underprivileged children in Italy. I can’t wait to make a positive impact through our partnership.”
Daniel Grieder, CEO of Hugo Boss AG, says of the star athlete, “Matteo Berrettini is a great personality on and off court, and we are more than excited to collaborate with him in the upcoming years. His spirit and attitude, which make him more than just one of the best tennis players in the world, are incredibly impressive.”
Grieder adds, “Matteo incorporates what a boss stands for today: showing a strong will, making the right decisions and inspiring people all around the world. Therefore, Matteo is not only a role model but also a perfect fit for BOSS.”
