At a concert on April 27, 2022, adidas Spezial and Liam Gallagher introduced the LG2 SPZL sneaker. Now, adidas and the British cultural icon have announced the highly anticipated trainer’s debut date. Gallagher has been a lifetime adidas supporter and is acquainted with Spezial founder Gary Aspden. The new collaboration between Gallagher and adidas Spezial comes after the release of the LG SPZL sneaker in 2019.
Liam Gallagher x adidas Spezial LG2 SPZL Silhouette
The LG2 SPZL shoe combines the timeless beauty of traditional historical designs with Gallagher’s vision. The trainer honors the original LG SPZL by combining squash and indoor versions. The shoe includes a chalk-white nylon upper, a gray and white EVA Die Cut midsole, and a rubber outsole. Light gray flocked stripes, an asymmetric suede overlay on the toe box, and an asymmetric rubber toe guard provide texture.

adidas Originals’ signature Bluebird pantone returns on the tongue with an ‘Endorsed by Liam Gallagher’ design, while Mod Trefoil emblems on opposite heels complete the silhouette. Each pair comes with special packaging, a box sticker commemorating the original 2019 LG SPZL release, and an “endorsed by Liam Gallagher” hangtag. LG2 SPZL trainers are available through CONFIRMED and select retailers on July 22, 2022.
