Katie Eary Fall/Winter 2014–Subverting harmless icons like Mickey Mouse, designer Katie Eary unleashed her devilish lineup on London Collections: Men. Exuding a modern punk streak, the onslaught of red looks hit the catwalk on models with hair spiked and fashioned into horns. Crafted around the unique prints that have become Eary’s signature, the collection retained attention with kilts, vinyl pants, harnesses and smart dress shirts disrupted. When one thinks of British fashion, they often visualize the smart tailored suits of Savile Row, but Eary reminded us that the city also boasts a young brash attitude.
