Chanel Pre-Fall 2014-Selecting Texas as the city of choice to host Chanel’s annual Métiers d’Art show, Karl Lagerfeld reinterpreted the western motif so popular to American culture for his pre-fall 2014 collection. Held at Fair Park, Lagerfeld premiered his latest short film The Return, which follows Coco Chanel’s return to fashion after losing favor post-war. Followed with a presentation of his new collection, Lagerfeld had on call regular model favorites Brad Kroenig, Jake Davies and more. Wearing boots, Chanel’s man stomped down the barn-inspired catwalk in heavy knitwear, fringe adorned tops and strong lines that borrowed from historical cavalry references.
