IWC Schaffhausen has long been the steady hand in the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS pits, but the brand’s partnership with George Russell signals a more vibrant gear shift. The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 George Russell and the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 George Russell trade the boardroom for the tarmac.
George Russell for IWC Schaffhausen

Russell is bringing the same confidence that secured his 2025 Singapore Grand Prix victory to the design table. The watches make use of black zirconium oxide ceramic and IWC’s own Ceratanium to keep things light and scratch resistant.

George Russell’s signature blue hue is the real star here, appearing on the dials and rubber straps of both the Chronograph 41 and Automatic 41 models as a nod to his racing helmet. This specific shade provides a sharp contrast against the matte black cases, while the number 63 engraved on the case back adds a childhood karting reference to the high tech package.

It is a calculated, high-performance aesthetic that proves the Pilot’s Watch can handle the heat of the grid as effortlessly as the cockpit.
