IWC Schaffhausen launches a campaign with brand ambassador Tom Brady shortly after debuting its new Top Gun collection at Geneva’s “Watches and Wonders” exhibition. The seven-time World Champion quarterback steals the show, donning several variations of IWC Schaffhausen’s Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Top Gun. The advertisement features iconic settings such as the Mojave Desert and Lake Tahoe, which inspired IWC Schaffhausen’s new ceramic colors for its Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Top Gun.
Tom Brady for IWC Schaffhausen Top Gun Campaign
The use of ceramic hues in the Top Gun line is noteworthy for IWC Schaffhausen, as the company pioneered colored ceramic timepieces. IWC Schaffhausen revisits its legendary Pilot’s Watches range, imagining the scenes witnessed by Top Gun pilots during training. Pantone color codes for stunningly monochrome, subdued watch designs represent these perspectives.
“In cinematic spots, we pair Tom Brady with selected TOP GUN chronographs,” says IWC Schaffhausen CMO Franziska Gsell. “The powerful images also reference the landscapes of Lake Tahoe, forests, and the Mojave Desert, which have inspired our new ceramic colors.” Gsell adds, “We couldn’t have thought of anybody better than Tom to illustrate the evolution of IWC TOP GUN into a style statement and expression of a distinct lifestyle.”
