RIMOWA Casts Joe Alwyn as an Artist in Transit

Joe Alwyn inhabits an artist’s studio as RIMOWA colors its Essential and Groove collections in Umber and Ultramarine.

RIMOWA expands its Essential and Groove collections with two bold new shades: Umber and Ultramarine. Set in a minimalist artist’s studio inhabited by actor Joe Alwyn, the luggage grounds a creative workspace marked by stacked canvases, sparse furniture, and bare floors.

Inspired by historical pigments, the earthy Umber and rich lapis Ultramarine turn the iconic ribbed cases into vivid statements against light walls and dark wood. Ultramarine stands out in particular, offering the deep saturation of pigment over a typical seasonal blue. Highlighting the destination over the transit, RIMOWA imagines travel as an opportunity to briefly settle into a new way of living.
