Oliver Peoples reunites with tennis legend Roger Federer for their summer 2026 eyewear collection, the fifth series in their multi-year RF and Oliver Peoples partnership. Lachlan Bailey photographs Federer between the red clay of the Foro Italico and a classic Roman villa. The campaign stages Federer vs. Federer, a duel between the competitor in the shield-shaped R-20 and the style aficionado in the rectangular R-19.

Four new shapes arrive this season alongside updated colorways. The R-17 is an angular squared sunglass with a double bridge and a lightweight metal construction pitched for everyday wear. The R-18 takes a softer route, a squared frame with an upswept lens and acetate windsor detailing.

The R-19 sits as the classic line of the collection, pairing an acetate front with metal temples through strong angles and custom detailing that works between court and city. The R-20 takes a sleeker turn on the shield silhouette, with a wrapped construction, a rim mounted behind the lens for a clean profile, and mirrored color-enhancing lenses on acetate temples that pull toward Federer’s on-court side of the campaign.

The tennis cues run through every frame. A custom corewire drawn from vintage racquet strings sits inside the temples, octagonal temple tips reference racquet handles, and rubberized nose pads and temple tips hold the frame in place during play. New colorways also arrive for best-sellers Mr. Federer II and Mrs. Federer.

Versatility runs through the collection. Whether worn on the court, during travel, or dressed for an evening occasion, Oliver Peoples and Roger Federer prove that performance and style work best as complementary pursuits.

The Californian eyewear house keeps good company this season, and its meeting with Jil Sander in Hamburg trades clay courts for harbor light and titanium fronts.
